Hello!

I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, supported, and validated in a safe environment! Life is hard and unpredictable and we shouldn't have to face it alone. I am honored to have the opportunity to be able to support people as they navigate their own journeys; no matter what step they're on.

I've lived most of my life in South Dakota and I'm ecstatic to be able to give back by providing services. I attended South Dakota State University to earn a bachelors degree in biology with a psychology minor, as well as, my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy. My passion and knowledge have only grown since completing my degree. I continued with my Play Therapy instruction and am proud to be a Registered Play Therapist!

I take a more integrative approach, with an emphasis on person/child-centered therapy as I believe that everyone is unique and has their own individual needs. This allows me to tailor to each client and meet them where they're at on their journey. I've expanded my approach with being trained in EMDR, DBT, ART, and CPRT. I also utilize techniques from CBT, Gestalt, and more! My goal being to create a safe,non-judgmental environment where a client can feel comfortable to explore their thoughts and feelings in a way that resonates with them. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and change, and I work collaboratively with my clients to help them identify their strengths to achieve their goals.

Having worked in a community mental setting prior, I've had the honor to work with a diverse clientele - both in age and goals! I've worked with ages from 2 years old to late adulthood. I've had the honor to help and guide individuals struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, grief, trauma, adjustment disorders, and more.

In my spare time, I enjoy trying new things, traveling, reading, baking, playing piano, and spending time with family, friends, and my boyfriend. I have two furbabies that are most of my life - Ayden (golden retriever) and Simon (siamese).

I would be honored to help you on your journey! :)
