Brianna Gast

She/ Her/ Hers

I am a licensed clinical mental health therapist and a licensed addictions counselor with perinatal mood and anxiety specific training. My practice began with working in community mental health, in the school system, and more recently working in the clinic system. I specialize in working with clients with a history of substance and alcohol use or with family members of those suffering from these addictions. After going through my own fertility journey, I developed a fierce desire to work with others on their reproductive health. This personal and professional blend enables me to address a wide range of psychosocial and emotional needs during the perinatal period.

I offer a holistic and client-centered approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness and accelerated resolution therapy to heal unprocessed trauma. I believe that establishing a good rapport and having a genuine connection helps promote a safe and non-judgmental environment, which is important for the therapeutic process.

Areas of Specialty:

  • Post-Partum Period

Outside of my practice, I find joy in exploring new destinations with my husband and pets, tending to my garden, and navigating the adventure of life with a new baby at home.

Whether you're seeking support for ADHD, perinatal challenges, addiction and anything in between, I’m here to guide you. I offer telehealth services in Minnesota and South Dakota, as well as in-person counseling for individuals aged 13 and up. I look forward to begin working and providing service in the community that I grew up in.
