Licensed Mental Health Provider, LMHP Nebraska

Passionate mental health clinician with a diverse background in elementary education and community counseling, specializing in working with children, families, and women navigating life's challenges. With a deep commitment to fostering growth and success, I empower individuals to overcome obstacles and cultivate resilience in the face of adversity.

As a former elementary educator, I bring a unique perspective to my counseling practice, understanding the developmental needs of children and the complexities of family dynamics. Transitioning into community counseling, I have dedicated myself to supporting individuals and families through various life transitions and emotional struggles.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Art Therapy (ART), tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. Additionally, I am a trained Love and Logic Parenting Facilitator, utilizing this framework to empower parents in fostering healthy, respectful relationships with their children.

I specialize in addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, grief, anger, depression, communication difficulties, divorce/co-parenting challenges, parenting struggles, trauma, bullying, and attachment disorders. By integrating Solution-Focused and Heart Map Journaling techniques, I assist clients in identifying strengths and developing effective coping strategies to navigate life's obstacles.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I find solace in nature, cherishing moments spent outdoors with family and friends. I am also a dedicated doodle enthusiast, finding joy and relaxation in the companionship of my beloved pets.

I am deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can explore their emotions, build resilience, and embark on a journey of healing and growth. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I strive to empower individuals to overcome challenges, find their voice, and lead fulfilling lives.
