“You live most of your life inside of your head. Make sure it’s a nice place to be.”

I am licensed as a Certified Social Worker (LCSW) through the state of South Dakota. I possess experience in outpatient therapy, inpatient mental health, and psychological crisis response intervention. Therapy is a very personal experience and is unique to each person. I will never think that I know what is best for you or act as if I am the expert of your life, I am here to walk next to you, not in front of you. In my practice I utilize various approaches consisting of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy, among others. I believe education should never stop; therefore, I am eager to learn ways in which I can assist clients in reaching their desired outcomes. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, however I now dedicate my time to seeing adults 18 and older. This experience includes treating conditions including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma & PTSD, grief, and personality disorders.

About Me:

I am originally from a small town in south-central Minnesota, growing up I always knew I wanted to be in a helping profession, but never knew what that would look like for me. I went on to get my bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2020 from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with additional focus areas including: family social science and public health. I then went on to receive my master’s in social work from Baylor University in 2023. I chose social work because of the well-rounded, human service education I would receive and the versatility that the degree offers. I relocated to South Dakota in 2020 and have loved it since! My boyfriend and our daughter live in rural Edmunds County; in my free time you can find me running, reading, gardening, crocheting, or visiting my friends and family.
